Support & Resources

As a coalition centered on and driven by people impacted by toxic PFAS contamination, we work to create a unified voice for strong, protective policies that protect communities, natural areas, and wildlife from PFAS contamination.

Whether you want to learn more about how toxic PFAS impacts human health, want to better understand risks and advocate for safer protections, or need support to address contamination in your community, we have resources that can help!

Community Awareness & Organizing Support

We help ensure that communities have the tools and support necessary to raise awareness, share information, and work together toward solutions:

  • Support local organizing efforts

  • Provide guidance for planning community meetings, outreach events, and PFAS information sessions

  • Help communities identify additional research, resources, and partners needed to better understand local contamination issues

PFAS Testing & Technical Support

Learn how to pursue PFAS testing for drinking water and other environmental samples, learn how to test your blood, interpret test results, and better understand potential sources of contamination.

GLPAN also helps communities access technical support from scientists, public health professionals, and partner organizations, ensuring residents have the information they need to make informed decisions, protect their health, and advocate for solutions to PFAS.

Help Amplify Your Story with Lawmakers and Media

We help community members stay informed about policies related to PFAS by providing updates on policy developments and opportunities to engage in the decision-making process. Through GLPAN, residents can participate in meetings with policymakers, learn how to take meaningful policy actions, and share their stories with those shaping PFAS regulations.

Community Action Mini-Grants

The Community Action Mini-Grants Program provides impacted communities and directly supporting groups and organizations with financial resources to support their on-the-ground education, organizing, or PFAS testing efforts.

We aim to build power within communities directly facing PFAS contamination so they may amplify their needs and collective voices to decision-makers, the media, and other people in power.
